Down on the Farm

This weekend, our parish had it's annual Pig Roast.  It's held at one of our parishoner's farms in Lanesville.  We start with an outdoor Mass, followed by as much BBQ as you can stuff yourself with.  There's sports equipment - Andrew's favorite!

 And lots and lots of food for Sophie to eat!

 It's so nice to enjoy time with our friends outside of our committees, schoolwork, and hour at Mass. 

 Of course, no trip to the farm would be complete without a hay ride.  But first, you have to get the dog off the wagon.

 I know!  Let's act like Indians and see if that works!

When it gets dark, the evening is always finished off with a marvelous fireworks display.  We didn't stay very late this year because I was sick all weekend, but it was still nice for me to have a change of scenery from my kleenex box.
