This evening, Tony and I took the kids swimming at the YMCA after we worked out. We don't have a lot of evenings where we are all home with nowhere to go (actually, Wednesdays are about it), so we took advantage of it.
The biggest excitement of the day is that we finally have our building permit for the addition of a family room. The carport in the pictures below soon will be no more. Our contractor said if we had our permit, he'd be able to start demo this week, weather allowing. Unfortunately, it's supposed to rain tomorrow so I guess it'll probably be next week. Andrew is so pumped up - last time Chad came to sign papers he had a backhoe on his trailer. Andrew can't wait for him to come tear up the concrete!
