She was such a phenomenal speaker! I love her pro-life views, especially about special needs children. I'm so glad we had the opportunity to see her in person. I was not so glad at the end of the evening, when we hiked for about a mile before finally getting on a shuttle bus and sitting in traffic. We made it home by 10:15, but only because Tony knows the backroads.

Palin Rally
Last night, we went with 16,000 of our closest friends to see Sarah Palin speak. We arrived about four thirty, but didn't actually make it inside until 5:30. There were shuttle buses from the parking lot, which was the highlight of Aidan's trip. He claimed he'd never been on a bus before. Lucky for us, Tony had managed VIP tickets. While we weren't really close, we at least had seats. I had to rely on Dad for pictures, though, because my camera doesn't move fast enough.
After a great performance by Hank Williams, Jr (which was the highlight for Andrew), Sarah arrived on the "straight talk express" right into this huge warehouse we were in.
