The boys and I are on Fall Break for a couple days, so Tony took two days off to stay with home with us. The original plan was to work on the wiring in the new room on Thursday and hit Huber's today, but the forecast was a cold rain for today (and it was right!). So we headed off to Starlight yesterday for some fun in the pumpkin patch. We decided to pick pumpkins first, before they got too busy, which turned out to be a good plan.

Aidan picked a pumpkin quickly, and claims he "loves his baby pumpkin". He wanted me to kiss it, but I declined.

Andrew's search took him a little longer, but he got a kick out of picking it right off the vine. It's about 11 or 12 pounds.

We shopped a little in the farm market (apple cider, yum!) and then ate lunch at the Winery. After that, we headed to the farm park. It's a little pricey, but the kids had a blast. They have a corn maze, rope maze, bamboo maze, two mountain slides, a huge trampoline, and of course the petting zoo and playground. Andrew was pretty good at the mazes!

While we were at Huber's, we saw some Future Farmers of America. Not the two below, but a whole busload of FFA kids from Wisconsin. Although I think their great-grandparents would be proud of them on the tractor, it would be better in John Deere green!
