Here comes the bride!

Last week was a very busy week for us, and the weekend wasn't any better. We had a wedding, two ball games, and the St. Anthony School play. My very best friend from high school, Shannon, got married on Friday, and another friend of ours, Jessica, and I were in the wedding along with a friend of Shannon's from work. Here are Jess and I at the rehearsal on Thursday:
Friday was a whirlwind day. I went to school in the morning and left at lunchtime to get my hair done. Then I picked up Jess at her salon and we headed to Louisville. We had to be ready for pictures by 3:00. We looked lovely, if I do say so!

Striking our "Providence pose":Me and my Shinkle:
Tony and my parents brought my kiddos to the wedding, and Jess's husband brought her son Jackson. Sophie and Jackson made friends quickly. She pulled and pushed him around in her walker.
Here's my beautiful family:

I enjoyed being part of Shannon's wedding. She and Rob will be so happy together and they deserve every minute of it. I was so blessed to get to spend some extra time with Shannon and Jess while wedding planning. It's nice to reconnect with old friends, and to make some new ones as well. We had a fabulous time Friday, but we were exhausted.

Saturday morning, Andrew had TaeKwonDo testing. We are proud to say that he passed and has earned his orange belt. Saturday afternoon both boys had ball games. On Saturday evening and Sunday, I had to be at school for the performances of Beauty and the Beast. My partner teacher and I did the choreography and the kids worked hard and looked great. We ended the weekend by using my very last gift card from my class to Outback for dinner. Merry belated Christmas to me!

I had to include this random picture of Sophie from Saturday. She was in motion and I think it's adorable:
I was so glad to get back to school and "normal" this morning!
