Little league season is in full swing! Aidan played last night and did very well. He's playing tee-ball for one more season. He got to play first base, and got a hit without the tee both times he got to bat. Both the boys are on the "Cinncinnati Reds" team, although in different division.
Here's Sophie, rooting her brother on with her Reds hat. It was one of Tony's first purchases before Sophie was born, when we found out we were having a girl.
Here's Aidan at bat:
Tonight was Andrew's first game. They were both supposed to play last Saturday but got rained out. I had class, but luckily I got out early and only missed half an inning. Andrew is a phenomenal ball player. Of his three at-bats, he got two good hits. He made it as far as second base before the innings ended, but his team won their first game 10 to 8. Here he is playing catcher, his favorite position.
Aidan has a make up game tomorrow, then my Shannon's wedding that I'm in is on Friday, along with the school play I've been choreographing Saturday and Sunday,and more ball games. Whew!
