Parade Day

Today was Clarksville Little League's parade and booster day. It was much better than last year (of course, it is almost a month later). The weather was comfortable and breezy with no rain. The players had to be at the start of the parade at 8:00. Tony was going as part of a crew on the fire truck, so he headed to the station early and Mom and I went to drop the boys off. Here they are before we sent them to their separate floats:

I tried getting a picture of Sophie with the boys since she was dressed to cheer them on, but as you can see, she wanted no part of it.
Tony and the rest of his crew had to park the fire truck down the road a little way since it was too big for the parking lot. He walked over to meet us and take some pictures with the boys.

Andrew was incredibly jealous that Aidan's team got to ride on one of the fire trucks while he had to ride in a pick up.
We left the boys with their coaches and mom and I headed back to the ballpark. We parked and walked back toward our house a little ways since the parade comes right through our neighborhood. Here's Sophie enjoying the parade:

After the awards were given out, both boys had games. They are both great players and seem to enjoy it. We're about halfway through the season, but I'm not cheering over the end of this sport. It's nice to sit outside, watch the kids, and socialize with half the town. The boys like visiting with their friends as much as Tony and I do!
