Big Girl

Today when we got home from school, Sophie was being especially grumpy. After one large tantrum, I put her in her crib for a time out. I continued trying to get dinner ready and I glanced in her room to see her with her entire leg hanging over the side. Now, when Andrew was about her age we put him in time out in his crib and he climbed over the side and busted his head open. So we're a little gun shy about the crib. Needless to say as soon as Tony got home, the side came off the convertible crib. Here's her last hurrah in her crib:

Sophie talks a blue streak these days. Yesterday she woke up and told me a dream about how the "dinosaurs get me" and "dinosaurs eat my house". She's too funny. After Tony converted her crib, I put she and Aidan in the bath. I couldn't resist sharing this picture:

So, Sophie's been in bed for a good hour now and hasn't gotten up. We reinstated the baby monitor and she sang to herself for a few minutes but has been quiet ever since.
I'm so sad to see Sophie getting so big! Next thing you know she'll be driving.
