Ever since we put on "Annie" at school this spring, Sophie has been obsessed. Her favorite song is "Tomorrow". We are quite impressed with her ability to stay on pitch, change keys and belt like a pro. Hard to believe she's only two. We're not claiming to have a prodigy, but her ability to hum and sing along with anything - even songs she's never heard before - is pretty uncanny. This video doesn't even do it justice because she was paying attention to Aidan and not to what she was doing, but it's a good sampling. She puts on shows all over the house, and after working on the show from October til March, I am SICK of Annie.
Thank goodness the boys and I are in "Wizard of Oz"! She has a whole repertoire of songs now, and even knows the choreography from sitting at practice. She even has ruby slippers and claims to be Dorothy. We're having lots of fun with the show and can't wait until July to put it on. But, that's a horse of a different color...

That is a child after my own heart!! When I was her age, I was standing on milk crates and performing for my family! We gotta keep her singing! <3
