This weekend I didn't take a single picture. Friday night, Tony and I went the Harvest Homecoming festival. We always go without the kids on Friday because it's where we ran into each other eleven years ago and then started dating. The weather was warm and it was packed, but we got our Harvest fix. Tony had his pork chop sandwich, and I had chicken and dumplings from the VFW booth. We walked the booths, went to the New Albanian Bank Street Brewery to look at the art and have one of their "fringe fest" beers, and then headed back through the booths to have pumpkin ice cream before heading home.
Saturday after soccer games and taekwondo testing, Tony took the boys to camp overnight at Churchill Downs for the first cub scout "Jamborama". I'm not sure what all it entailed, but the boys had a lot of fun.
Speaking of TKD, after four cycles of being a brown belt, Andrew passed testing on the first try! I am so proud of him. This was the first time he had to break boards to pass, and he didn't have any trouble. On Thursday, he'll get his new belt - a senior brown. Only two belts to go before he gets to test for his probationary black belt. Watch out, world!
