Merry Christmas!
After tearing through gifts, we headed to Tony's mom's house for brunch - and more presents. Tony and I got tickets to Wicked next month when it comes to Louisville. So, no bed rest or baby born before January 11th! We came home for naps and then our families came over in the evening to play show and tell with the boys. We had chili and everyone played poker while I sat with my feet up. Merry Christmas to me!We've survived not one, not two, but seven Christmas celebrations beginning on Christmas Eve and ending today. On Christmas Eve, we started out at my mom and dad's. The boys were most excited to both get harmonicas. Of course, I suggested that maybe they stay at Grandma and Papa's, but I lost that suggestion.
Afterwards, we headed to Tony's aunt's house in Corydon. We were so excited to see his cousin Chyanna, her husband David and their kids. They've been in Alabama while David was in school and didn't make it in for Thanksgiving this year. The boys were thrilled to see Cate and Aidan was amazed at how much Daniel had grown since July.
Christmas morning we opened gifts leisurely at home for the first time since Andrew was born. It was really nice to have plenty of space in the new room and the boys were so excited about seeing what Santa brought.

Although we've been busy, it was really nice to spread out our Christmas celebrations this year. Friday night we celebrated with my extended family. On Saturday we went to my father's, and tonight we celebrated with my stepmom. It was nice to be able to visit with everyone as opposed to rushing from one place to the next with crabby children. Now, if I can just get my house put back together before I go back to school next week, I'll call it a successful holiday!
