Andrew was so excited - we had to drive past the scene on the way to his therapist, and we kept Tony's extra radio on the entire trip.Friday night, we decided to try "roughing it" with the boys. Granted, we were camping in Mom and Dad's backyard, but it was our first try for the boys. Even Tony admitted to having never camped in a tent before.
We started the evening by roasting hot dogs and marshmallows over a fire pit Dad bought. The boys had a ball eating outside, and then they ran around the yard and the woods.

The boys were convinced they were going to stay up to watch the stars. Unfortunately, it doesn't get dark until close to 10, so we had to go to bed a little earlier. We took some bets on who would last outside all night.
Tony and Andrew actually slept all night outside in the tent. Mom and I started out inside with Sophie. Dad joined us not long after, and Aidan came in and said he'd try next time.
Everyone enjoyed sausage gravy and biscuits on Saturday, and then we took the boys to tae kwon do testing. They were a little tired, but I'm pretty sure they passed.
