Tae Kwon Do

We finally made it back to school on a regular schedule on Thursday. Good thing - this week's schedule has been crazy for us. I had to go to UofL twice. On Thursday, the kiddos sat with me at school while I helped with play practice until 4:15, we ran home and ate and then met my friend Jess at 5:00 to shop for a wedding shower we're planning. At 6:00, we had to be at TKD for awards. We made it to everything with a few minutes to spare, even.

These awards were important ones for Andrew. He's moving from the "Karate Kub" class into the juniors class. If he sticks it out, from this point on he'll be working toward his "real" black belt. Because he completed the entire Kub program, he got to skip a belt level and go straight to a junior yellow belt. He was so proud of himself! He also got stars for his uniform for practicing at home and good behavior at school.

We'll definitely have more pictures to post before the end of the weekend. Tomorrow Andrew has the little league draft, and we have a birthday party to go to in the afternoon. On Sunday is another basketball game and my friend Shannon's wedding shower. Between all of that, I have three assignments to finish before class on Tuesday. Whew!
