4th Weekend of Advent
We could not have possibly crammed anything else into our weekend! Saturday morning, Sophie had dance class. From there, we headed to the American Legion for the Auxiliary's children's Christmas party. There were crafts and games:

Singing Christmas carols:
And of course, the big guy in red. I LOVE Andrew's face in this picture. He's old enough and smart enough not to believe, but he believes wholeheartedly anyhow. He has an excuse for everything possible argument against Santa's existence. In his mind, magic is enough.

Sophie's still a little unsure. She hid from this Santa, but did end up on his lap. This makes Santa visit number 3 for her this year.
After the Legion, we headed to the fire station for their Thanksgiving/Christmas/awards banquet. The food was great, but the highlight is Santa arriving by fire truck.
Sophie had no trouble climbing up on this Santa's lap - he was passing out actual gifts.
Aidan is smiling like the cat that caught the canary, because he knows that this helper of Santa is actually his teacher's grandpa.

Today, we had church, a meeting for us, a Cub scout meeting, and we're getting ready to head to dinner for the first of several family Christmas celebrations. Here's Sophie, all dressed up with her doll that Santa gave her at the fire station. She loves it so much. I love the ginormous bow on her head.
Is it bedtime yet?
