Sophie at one week!

Sophie turned one week old yesterday. It's hard to believe - in so many ways, it seems like she's been part of the family landscape for much longer!




Andrew and Aidan are adjusting to Sophie fairly well. At least, they aren't acting any better than they were before she arrived. I think they're just at and age where they need some space from each other. Luckily, Andrew will be in kindergarten next year so they won't be together every day. Sophie fits right in with the rest of us. Here are the top three things she and I have learned this week:
1. Girls are much more fun to dress, at least for Mommy!
2. Birth order matters - the third child is much more flexible, just by default.
3. On the other hand, when Sophie really wants my attention, she has already figured out how to scream consistently until her needs are met.
