This afternoon, Tony invited me (and Sophie, of course) to come to his Rotary meeting. Our friend Todd was in from Indy to speak about the Secretary of State's Office. As you can see below, Sophie slept through most of her first Rotary meeting. I really think Tony just wanted me to come so he could show her off!
This evening, I put batteries in the aquarium bouncer. Andrew was born right in the midst of the 2003 Congressional race and Tony was working for Mike Sodrel at the time. Mike's wife Keta bought Andrew the bouncer because her grandkids loved theirs so much. I have to admit, both boys loved it as babies, but the noises and lights drove Tony and I crazy. We are guilty of letting the batteries run down. But Tony's papaw and memaw were babysitting for us regularly at the time, and they would bring batteries and replace them every time it ran down. I'd leave a quiet house in the morning and come home to find the goofy thing working again. It made for a good story to tell the boys about their Papaw when I got it back out today. As you can see in the picture, apparently it still hasn't lost it's appeal to Aidan.

Jacque, We have that same bouncy seat. My kids loved it (seriously Harrison slept there for the first 3 months). I could never have lived without it. It's already sitting ready with batteries for this little one. I'm not sure how you've survived for 5 weeks without getting it out yet:)
