Everyday lately, Andrew has said or done something that reminds me he'll be starting kindergarten next year and that he's getting old. This week, that reminder came home in his backpack. His teacher is sending home little decodable readers for the kids. Andrew loves reading his to everyone, especially his siblings.
On Friday, mom and I celebrated one last hurrah before I head back to school next Thursday. We went to Edinburgh and cut a wide swath through the outlet mall. The picture below is Sophie in her shopping attire, an adorable outfit that Aunt Connie brought up during her trip. She was such a good shopper - even if she slept through the entire trip!
Today was the last basketball game at the YMCA. The program they run is so great for the kids. Andrew has a collection of medals, but Aidan was so proud of his very first!
It was so gorgeous that we decided to forgo naps after the game and take Sophie on her first zoo outing with my mom and Tony's mom. Good thing we have a pass and didn't pay to get in - it was packed! We waited in line for lunch for over 30 minutes. Even if we didn't spend much time looking at animals, it was nice to get out of the house and get some fresh air.
