Church picnic

We had an incredibly busy weekend, but so much fun! Friday and Saturday were our church picnic, and also opening weekend for "Lullaby for a Lonely Child". I've split the pictures into two posts to keep things shorter, but believe me - it all happened simultaneously. We arrived both Friday and Saturday early enough to get our booth set up. The boys can't sell raffle tickets, but they both found people to help. It was so hot - the heat index was 105 - that my camera fogged up when I tried to take pictures. Here's Andrew helping with the two-liters for the ring toss.

Aidan liked helping with the sno-cones.

More ring toss helpers

Sophie enjoying her first world-famous St. Anthony chicken dinner (she was too little last year)
Both evenings, Aidan and I got things started, left for the two hours of the play, and returned. The boys were up until after eleven both nights, and Tony's mom took Sophie home to the air conditioning much earlier. The crowd seemed to be down this year, due to the heat, but we still had a wonderful time and the food was great. Can't wait until next year!
