This weekend, our theme was "A House Divided" or "Divide and Conquer" - the choice is up to the reader. This was Tony's first weekend off since the pool opened in May. While I was glad to have him home, I (almost) missed our weekend pool trip.
Tony took Andrew to TaeKwonDo on Saturday, and then the two of them went on to Mass. I stayed home with Aidan and a sick Sophie. Saturday evening, Tony's mom watched the kids while he and I attended the kindergarten "Parent Party". That's a new concept our school is trying out this year. Each grade has a parent willing to host a "grown up" party for parents. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening with the parents of Aidan's friends. I hope this idea sticks around awhile.
On Sunday after church, the boys had their very first flag football game. Just like in high school, I did way more socializing than watching. Tony assured me that our team won, and Andrew even did something good, but I'm not sure what it was. Sophie napped in the stroller.

After football, Sophie and I headed out to my mom's for my cousin's bridal shower. Sophie was feeling better and was all smiles. I see a lot of Siegel in her in the picture below - luckily she reminds me of the girls in the family and not particularly of Tony.
Look at the gifts!

Sophie had a great time with just the girls. Her cousins, who are April's flower girls, were at the shower as well. Sophie giggled and pranced around the house. I guess I need to get her some more girl time!

Our fall weekend schedule is already beginning to look atrocious, but at least it's with things we are all looking forward to!
