Outfit of the Day

I have quite a few blogs I follow now, and one of the "in" things is apparently sharing what you're wearing in a post called "Outfit of the Day" or "Ootd". So, I thought I'd share my kids' outfits from Saturday.

I used to always wonder about kids (particularly boys) that I'd see out in public in ridiculous clothes. I was determined that my kids would always look nice when they went out. Now I feel badly for judging those other parents. While I was in the shower on Saturday, Tony made the boys get themselves dressed for Scouts. They were on their way out the door when I snapped these pictures. Obviously, bad fashion happens when kids make their own decisions. First, here's Andrew:
Note the toboggan he bought himself, black long sleeves under a navy tshirt, and boots that are too big. But he thinks he's cool, and apparently that's important.
Then there's Aidan:

For Aidan, comfort always comes first. Black sweat pants with the navy tshirt and plaid shoes. Sigh.

Then, there's Sophie. I'm training her better.
Doesn't her boo-boo look better? The glue hasn't worn off yet and the gash is black, but all the bruising/swelling is gone. So glad she's okay - wish her fall had instilled some caution in her!

By the way, Godspell opens this weekend!
Tony and I have had so much fun working together on this show, and I think it's going to be great. You should come!
