Miss F

The kindergarten at St. Anthony still uses the Letter People. This week, Miss F has flown in for a visit. For eight years, I have watched all the wonderful letter people goings-on in the kindergarten rooms, and this year I finally had a child of my own in there!

Each week, the kindergarten does crafts and activities related to the letter of the week. For Miss F, they are bringing flashlights to school and making frogs. By far, my favorite activity is painting their "funny feet". Both classes go outside shoe- and sock-less and paint shirt clad and step in paint. They then proceed to run all over our parking lot, leaving little painted footprints behind for all the parish to see for the next several weeks. I just happened to be able to catch them going out and ran out to take a picture of Andrew.
Stay tuned - Friday is the Funny Foot parade and Andrew and I are diligently working on his socks - with foam flames, fire trucks, fire badges, and fire-colored feathers.
