We came home from the zoo and I headed to the final jewel in the bad-week crown: my two fillings at the dentist. Friday evening, Andrew had baseball practice and I wanted to go to educator night at the museum, so Tony and I decided to divide and conquer. Andrew went with Tony to help at the church fish fry, then was dropped off at ball practice. Mom and I took Aidan and Sophie to the museum. Most of the exhibits are way over their heads, but we had fun anyway. Here are my budding architects:

Part of educator night includes different experiments and projects set up all over the museum. Sophie tried out playing with Oobleck (slimy stuff made of cornstarch). Of course, she tried to eat it. At that point, we decided to leave.

We left the museum, went to church for a quick fish dinner and then headed to the ball park to get Andrew. What a great (but very busy) day!
Saturday was busy as well, and even though I lugged my camera to each event, I didn't take any pictures. Our friend Scarlet got married in Salem on Saturday afternoon. Scarlet is a friend from TaeKwonDo, and she had a beautiful wedding. The boys loved seeing their friends, eating pasta and wedding cake and dancing. As a matter of fact, so did Tony and I! Because the wedding was in the afternoon, the boys fell asleep in the car on the way home. Before we woke them, I snapped this picture. Andrew was out cold, and Sophie was wide awake trying to grab his face from her car seat.
Saturday night was my friend Shannon's bachelorette party. Before they all went out partying, we had dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Then Shannon and a group of girls headed to 4th Street, while two other mommies and I sat around and talked and then headed back home to our hubbies and kiddos. It turned out to be a great night!

This week is spring break, and I already have every day booked. Stay tuned for lots of updates!
