Spring Break in Retrospect: The first half of the week

Here we are in the final hours of Spring Break, and I have been horribly negligent in updating the blog. The good news is that I've been so negligent because we had a wonderful spring break! I've taken so many pictures that I'll have to break this into several posts, starting with the first part of the week. On Monday, I took Sophie to have her picture taken with a real bunny rabbit at a local photography studio. I can't get them posted, so everyone will have to wait to see them in person. The pictures turned out cute, and Sophie loved the bunny.

On Wednesday, the weather was pretty so we grabbed my friend Monica and headed to the zoo. We all had a wonderful time!
The zoo has a temporary dinosaur exhibit. The dinos are robotic, so they move and make noise. The kids, including Sophie, thought they were great.

Despite all the fun we had at the zoo and just hanging out at home, the boys were most looking forward to our "mini" vacation to Indianapolis on Thursday and Friday. When you're five or six, one night in a hotel apparently means big excitement. We actually ended up having a wonderful trip - stay tuned for pictures!
