Happy Unbirthday!

Aidan turned six back in November. However, if you recall, November was quite the crazy month. We had two family weddings we were involved in, out of town family, to say nothing of Thanksgiving. So, Aidan's birthday came and went with just a cake and some family. In October, Andrew had a big birthday with his friends. We try to only do "big" parties with school friends every other year or so. Since Andrew had his this year, we promised Aidan could have one as well. It only took us to January to do it! Aidan decided to have his party at the TaeKwonDo academy as well, even though he doesn't take lessons anymore. It's very economical, he loves the staff, and he was able to invite the enitre kindergarten.

As you can see, half the kindergarten class came, along with six of his cousins (two aren't in the picture). We had quite the crowd!
Aidan had a great time and I was glad we could finally make good on our promise. He recieved many generous gifts, his favorite being a pottery wheel that I think we'll try out this weekend.
We left Aidan's party and headed to the Boy Scout Luau. It's a great event each year where our Boy Scout Pack rents the YMCA after hours for a Hawaiian themed party. We swam for about an hour, then had a pitch-in dinner and played games. I didn't actually get any pictures of the boys because they were too busy with their friends and I was too busy chasing Sophie. Of course, she looks adorable!
