More Basketball

This weekend was round two of basketball - only three more games to go. Thank goodness for a short biddy ball season! We're so proud of the way the boys are playing. They've come so far since their first team at the YMCA.

Sophie likes cheering for her brothers, but she was awfully tired this Sunday!

Also this weekend is proof that spring may finally be on the way - besides warmer weather, we had the little league baseball draft on Saturday! I can't wait for hot weather and the baseball park.
Today we actually had a day off from school because we didn't need to make up any snow days. Hooray for SAS! It has been a perfect day so far - I got to sleep past six, I have my ten page paper written for class tomorrow night, three weeks worth of laundry is put away, my house is clean, and I even cleaned out one cabinet. I cut the boys' hair, too. Of course, I couldn't have done all of this without my mom's help. The kids were even able to play outside and I opened all the windows this morning. Unfortunately, it started raining and a cold front is moving in so I'm going to have to close the house up soon. Winter isn't quite over yet - spring is just teasing us.
The rest of the afternoon is just waiting for me! Tony and the boys are going to finish their cars for the Pinewood Derby for scouts on Sunday. When Sophie wakes up, I think she and I will venture to the YMCA and then to the grocery. I'm hoping to do some baking this evening. It's amazing that I consider a productive day off a good one. It would also have been nice to stay in bed all day. But since we're planning to take the kids out of town for spring break, I have to use every minute I've got. I'll post pictures of the kids' car pictures and my baking project later!
