The Start of Summer

 Here are some signs that summer has arrived at last!  Aidan's Little League division is finished except for tournament play.  I think he's ready:

 Wednesday was our last student day at school, and also field day.  Since Aidan's a first grader, I got to spend the day with him - what fun!

 I did get to snap a picture of Andrew as we passed in the hall.

 I am now living with a second grader and a third grader.  I can't believe it!  I've been promising Sophie that as soon as school was out, I'd take her to get her hair cut.  We got quite a bit of length taken off to try to even out some of her baby strands.  Our stylist at the salon even gave her "princess curls". She looks so grown up!

 Another sure sign summer is here - cleaning up the yard!  We had a yard sale today, and while it was going on, I dragged everything off the porch and set the kids up with brushes, soap and the hose.  They cleaned everything and the patio is ready for some summer sitting!
