Thursday was the annual Kinderderby. It becomes more involved every year! Our first graders dressed up for Millionaire's Row with hats and ties. They looked awesome! Our music teacher even added a marching band to the festivities this year, and there were lemonade stands. (No mint juleps, however).
Since the Oaks is a holiday for most schools in the area, my sister-in-law and I spent Friday at the zoo with the kids. It was HOT, but we had a good time.
After the zoo, we cooled off and then got ready for some baseball - Aidan and Hunter's teams were playing each other in a make-up game. After the game, Tony and I headed to a Derby party. More about that in the next post - all things Derby!
This morning, Sophie had dance. It was the last parent visitation for the year - recital will be here before we know it. I have a video, but for some reason I haven't been able to upload them lately.
Stayed tuned for the next post about all our Derby happenings!
