Labor Day Weekend Part 1

When it rains, it pours around our house. Yesterday afternoon, both Andrew and I made trips to the doctor. Ironically enough, both of us are fairly healthy but Aidan spent the night throwing up. Welcome to the Singleton house. In between all the drama, however, we went to Mom and Dad's for a cookout with the whole Courtney gang. Aunt Connie and Uncle Gary were in from Georgia and we all got together for the evening. I took several pictures, but with five kids I was lucky to get just this one that turned out even remotely well!

We spent this morning finishing up details at the KIA store. Four hours and two cranky children later, Tony finally had a new car. We'd been planning to get him a vehicle for some time, but the little blue Contour conked out on us this week. After 11 years, it needed more work than what it's even worth. I haven't taken a picture of Tony with his new car yet, but I'll get one posted soon!

After car shopping, we met Mom and Dad at Mount St. Francis for their annual picnic. They had an awesome dinner - chicken and dumplings, yum! After walking the booths a bit, we headed down to watch the hot air balloon race. Since Mom and Dad's neighbor owns and pilots a balloon, the boys got to "help" get the balloon ready. It was a little loud for Andrew's taste, but both boys were impressed.

On the way out, we stopped to take a picture with the St. Francis and the wolf statue in the woods. It's hard to believe it's been almost a year since Tony and I were actually in Assisi!
