Dance class

Saturday morning was parent observation during Sophie's dance class. Every week, I watch Sophie through the window. Every week, she does what is expected of her. What's more, she comes home and dances around the house for everyone to see. However, when all the parents trooped in the dance room with our cameras poised, Sophie decided to do...nothing. Well, that's not exactly true. She stood nicely on her line for the first several minutes. She examined her hand and tried to show me something on it. Then, she started removing her leotard. Let's hope recital goes better.

After the class demostrated their dance and Sophie demostrated something else altogether, they all got cookies to eat.

Sophie loves Miss Heather and tells me every week that she's going home with her. Poor Heather!

Of course, we left dance in a downpour, the results of which you saw in my last post. It continued raining all of Holy Saturday and right into Easter. More pictures to come soon!
