Happy Easter!

Easter Sunday dawned...and it was rainy and yucky. Big surprise. We still had a great day. Here are two pictures left from Saturday evening on the way to church:

The Easter bunny was so good to us! Unfortunately, many things were outdoor toys and will have to wait until the water recedes and we can get off the ark.

Sophie loved hunting Easter eggs. She got so excited! I'm amazed by how dark it looks outside the window behind here. This picture was taken at almost 9:00 in the morning. Yucky day.

After a breakfast of hot cross buns, coffee, and Easter candy, we got dressed and headed to my mom and dad's to celebrate with the Courtney side of the family. Amazingly enough, we were able to get all seven great-grandchildren sitting together and looking in the same direction with no tears. They played really well together and we had lots of yummy food!

Here are the beautiful girls who have grandmothers that shop together!

We couldn't hunt eggs outside so we sat in a circle and played hot potato with the eggs instead. The kids were really good considering. Sophie was so worn out -this is what too much chocolate and and fun with the cousins do for you:

We rolled everyone into the house and took naps before loading up and heading to Tony's side of the family for another celebration. I took a picture of the three kiddos with Tony's Memaw. I can not believe how close my first grader is to passing up his great grandma in height!

We had a great Easter with our families and are so grateful to be able to spend time with them!
