Nazareth

Thursday evening, we went and had pictures taken of Tony and Sophie at Click. Tony had his picture taken in his uniform and we did Sophie's six month shots. I can't copy them here, but there are on the website at www.clickportraitsnow.com under "gallery" for July 9th.

After the photo shoot, we had promised the boys a trip to the zoo. We were at Click a little later than planned, so we decided to go down to the waterfront instead. It was a perfect evening for walking along the river, and the kids had a great time on the playgrounds.
We also checked out the new Lincoln statue at Waterfront Park. Unfortunately, my picture's a little blurry and doesn't do him justice!
Friday morning, Mom and I took the kiddos down to Bardstown to see Sr. Mary Adolph at Nazareth. Sister was a dear friend of my grandmother when they were all at Nazareth together. We've been blessed enough to have her as an adopted part of our family ever since.
We went to Mass and then lunch while we were there. The boys enjoyed visiting with all the nuns, and Sophie had lots of kisses and cheek patting. I love this picture in front of the steps because I think everyone in my family has had a shot like this taken while growing up!
All in all, it made for a great start to our weekend!
