After the rally, we return to our "courthouses" for rapid-fire whistle stops. Always a lot of fun and a great way to see the state candidates. By tomorrow afternoon, inaugurations will be taking place. Where has the week gone?

Primary Elections at HGS
Just to do a little catching up, last night (Tuesday) was the Veteran's Night program. Here are Monica and I taking our traditional HGS picture in front of the Blumberg desk. The only thing missing is Miss Betty. We miss her this year - I'll have to give her a call.
At the Veteran's Night program, several veterans spoke to the girls, and then they shared a POW MIA service.
Wednesday at HGS is primary election day. After voting was over, the girls had state party conventions to elect their state candidates. After voting and while conventions were occuring, I actually had time for a nap. This evening we held our two party rally, where both sets of candidates get to speak. This is huge event, and everyone dresses up - including the city counselors. Two of my girls had mullet wigs - the government counselor is the business and the social counselor is the party.
