It has taken me three days to recover from the HGS exhaustion and mess. I've finally caught up on sleep, cleaning, and laundry (well, it's not put away, but it is all clean). So today, the kids and I thought it was time for some summer fun. After heading to the YMCA, we took a picnic lunch to the park. Here's Aidan getting ready to dig in:
Sophie was convinced that she could do everything her brothers could do - by herself.
Sophie just wouldn't cooperate for a cute slide picture of all three kids, so this is the best I could do.
I've said all along that Sophie is going to be a nature girl. She loves water, the outdoors, and dirt. She was filthy by the time we went home and had to be wiped down before I could put her in her crib for a nap.
We're planning to head to the pool and to the zoo later this week.
