Tuesday was election day. It was a great day for Republicans, although I didn't get to hang out and celebrate that evening as long as I would have liked. Tuesday morning, I was running late and was yelling at the boys to hurry because I needed to vote. Sophie, my parrot, started hollering "I go vote! I go vote!".
We went to the victory party (and it actually was this year) and waited for returns. It was nice to see some people we hadn't seen in awhile. Sophie threw herself on the floor and starting screaming around 7:15, so it was time for us to head out. Tony was running for Jeffersonville Township Board and won, which was exciting, but I wasn't there to hear his victory speech. Apparently he mentioned that it was night night time at the Singleton house.
Although we are glad a few more politicians were ousted, the real reason behind the title of the blog was Andrew's tooth. He lost his second one at school today. He has written a note to the tooth fairy asking what she does with the teeth. Hmmm...
And, just because I can't resist - here's my little princess:
Tomorrow night is our fall festival at school. The boys are very excited about working their class booths. It's our last reprise before the hurricane hits...wedding, wedding, birthday, Thanksgiving, then good-bye November!
